PW U I Mohamad Lockman bin Abdul Jabar was born on February 24, 1979 in Kluang, Johor and received his early education at “Sekolah Kebangsaan Bandar Easter” Felda Simpang Waha Kota Tinggi Johor, and continued his education to Vocational Secondary School util form five.
Since joining the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) on 12 May 1999, he has been stationed at the Air Force School (STU), SENTRA 3 Subang, RMAF Jugra Regiment and Air Force Headquarters (MTU). Apart from that, he has also held positions such as Sergeant Major Squadron, Force Protection Squadron, Sergeant Major, Combat Wing Squadron (Skn) and coach of Air Force Special Forces (PASKAU) combat courses.
PW U I Mohamad Lockman always shows high excellence and full commitment in every courses he attends by often getting the Best Student Award or the Best Academy Student. His actual experience, knowledge and operational capabilities make him the top choice to follow the Malaysian Contingent West 1 United Interim Force In Lebanon Security Mission in 2008. He was also the first member of the “PASKAU” Tactical Team that mobilized to carry out the Ground Forward Air Controller mission during “Daulat” operation early March 2013 in Lahat Datu Sabah. Meanwhile, in between October 2010 and February 2011, PW U I Mohamad Lockman was entrusted to be assigned a mission “OPS FAJAR 8” in the Gulf of Aden.
He holds the position as a RMAF Warrant Officer and acts as a special advisor to the Commander of the Air Force in relation to existing policies involving the rules of service, spirit and culture of the RMAF. In this regards, he also provides advisory services to the top leadership of the RMAF from aspects involving protocols and ceremonies in an event involving the RMAF at the ATM, State, National and International levels. He also acts as an eyes and ears that channels information and views related to the welfare and matters of RMAF “LLP” members.
PW U I Mohamad Lockman is a member who has admirable morals with sincerity and honesty in performing any tasks. His dedication, determination and perseverance have helped a lot in the success of activities at various levels of the RMAF and ATM. His directly involved in all the execution of tasks and helps a lot to inspire other members and he is an example on all aspects of skills, knowledge and praiseworthy attitudes. Throughout his career, PW U I Mohammad Lockman has received several decorations and major awards. These honor include of Airman Of The Year in 2010 and was entrusted to hold the position as RMAF Ceremonial Warrant Officer on 08 May 2017 and subsequently held the highest position in the “LLP” RMAF as the 8th RMAF Warrant Officer to the date.
